Soil/Terroir : Gress.
Appellation : AOC Costières de Nîmes.
Mechanical and handpicked harvest.
70 % Syrah / 30 % Cinsault

Located at the top of the Costières de Nîmes region, the vineyard is south facing and benefits from constant sunshine. The Costières soil is made of Rhône rocky alluviums, better known as brownstone, and similar to the Cote du Rhône terraces. It mainly contains round flat stones of varying sizes (pebbles), with a constant mineralogical constitution.
This blend of Cinsault and Syrah comes from young grape vines from our Estate with an average harvest of 50 hl/ha. Its freshness and fruity aromas are its best asset. The wine combines lightness and vivacity.
The fruity character of this wine, its smoothness and freshness make it a possible alternative to other white wines to accompany red-fleshed fish. It would also be good with simple dishes such as poultry or charcuterie which would enhance the fruity bouquet of this wine.
This wine should be served very cool (10-12°C), as higher temperatures could make it taste heavier than it is.
This wine should be drunk within the first two years following harvest to enjoy its full aroma.
Ref.028 - Tour de Lubière Blanc 2007
Winemaker/Producteur : Château Vessière - 30800 SAINT GILLES
Soil/Terroir : Gress.
Appellation : AOC Costières de Nîmes.
Mechanical and handpicked harvest.
70 % Grenache / 30 % Roussanne
Located at the top of the Costières de Nîmes region, the vineyard is south facing and benefits from constant sunshine. The Costières soil is made of Rhône rocky alluviums, better known as brownstone, and similar to the Cote du Rhône terraces.
It mainly contains round flat stones of varying sizes (pebbles), with a constant mineralogical constitution. This vintage used an exceptionally low temperature which meant a particularly long fermentation. It takes forty-five days in total to create this characteristic wine.
This wine will not age well, so it is advised to drink it young. It is the perfect aperitif, but the berry aroma can also accompany a dessert of red berries.
This wine should be served chilled (10-12°C), but not too cold as it would spoil the taste. In fact, too low temperatures can trap the aromatic molecules and make the wine taste bland.
If you want to appreciate fully the freshness and aromatic richness of this wine, it should be consumed within the first two years following harvest.

Mechanical and handpicked harvest.
50 % Syrah / 30 % black Grenache / 20 % Mourvedre

The Costières soil is made of Rhône rocky alluviums, better known as brownstone, and similar to the Cote du Rhône terraces. It mainly contains round flat stones of varying sizes (pebbles), with a constant mineralogical constitution.
The main quality of this wine is its pre-fermented blend of grapes from the vat process. This marriage of grapes reveals a ripe red and black berries aroma, as well as a fleshy and full-bodied feel in the tannins.
This wine would be a perfect accompaniment to charcuterie, grilled, fried or sautéed white meats, and all types of grilled food.
This wine is ideal at room temperature or slightly cooler (16 - 18 ° C) to reveal its fruity character. Very pleasant from an early age, this wine will improve well for several years.

Our tasting
Deep sustained color with a big brightness. Strong nose of jam red
fruits, spices, vanilla, liquorice. The first mouth is frank and
harmonious. Strong finish of preserve fruits, light touch of wood. This
wine is not filtered and some little dregs can therefore gather with
time at the bottom of bottle.
